Flat Earth, money from nothing
Why would a bunch of people put so much effort into building and spreading such a ridiculous lie such as "flath earth theory"? Well, for the same reasons many modern christian sects and ufologists exist, to make extra cash.
- How the hell would you dare to imply that!?
- Because that's the only reasonable explanation. I mean, no one would put so much effort just to make fun of other people. There should be another reason. And that reason, if you think about it, is money.
- Stupid! How the hell could they make money with that?
- Easy. Making YouTube videos, making you read that article online, selling you bumper stickers, t-shirts and even selling you conference tickets.
The Flath Earth theorists aren't even doing anything original, the business of selling lies is as old as mankind itself. Religion has been doing this for thousands of years, except in this case Flath Earth theory is not being sold as a religion but as a "truth" or a "scientific fact" kept secret by those who "rule the world".
But actually none of that is true and the guys who spread this misinformation know it. Sometimes they have even shown by mistake how little they believe in their own lies.
In fact, they have proven they can come up with the most stupid ideas. And these ideas don't even have to be consistent with other people's ideas. You don't have to be specially smart or talented to be a Flat Earth speaker, anything goes. But the more credible your lies are the more traffic your website/youtube channel will have.
