Why would a bunch of people put so much effort into building and spreading such a ridiculous lie such as "flath earth theory"? Well, for the same reasons many modern christian sects and ufologists exist, to make extra cash. - How the hell would you dare to imply that!? - Because that's the only reasonable explanation. I mean, no one would put so much effort just to make fun of other people. There should be another reason. And that reason, if you think about it, is money. - Stupid! How the hell could they make money with that? - Easy. Making YouTube videos, making you read that article online, selling you bumper stickers, t-shirts and even selling you conference tickets.
